Vinebral (Vincamine)
COMPOSITION
Each capsule contains vincamine 30 mg.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATONS
For normalization and adaptation of cerebral
circulation for metabolic needs of brain cord, for regulation, improving and
supporting its functions.
- Hypomnesia;
- Clouded sensorium disorders;
- Diabetic angiopathy;
- Cerebral atherosclerosis;
- Conditions after craniocerebral trauma and acute cerebrovascular accident;
- Brain damages following ischemia;
- Hypertensive encephalopathy;
- Hearing and vision disorders with vascular genesis;
- Disorientation in place and time.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Brain tumor;
- Pregnancy and lactation;
- Known increased sensitivity to vinkamin and other components of preparation.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
Digestion system: sickness, vomiting, epigastric
burning, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth.
Cardio-vascular system: decrease of ABP, tachycardia.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Vinebral capsules are taken orally with enough
amount of water.
In adults 1 capsule is taken 2 times per day. The treatment duration depends on
the disease progress and is established by a doctor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Concominant administration of Vinebral with
itraconasole and vinkristin can increase neurotoxicity with acute lymphoblastic
leukemia.
Vinebral potentiates antihypertensive agents and antiaggregants. Combination of
kinupristin/dalfopristin acts as inhibitor isoenzyme CYP3A4 and in case of
concominant administration can increase consentration of vinkamin in blood
plasma.

Hard gelatin capsule with sustained release.
10 capsules in blister. 2 blisters in carton box with enclosed leaflet.
