Vasdilen (Buflomedil Hydrochloride)
COMPOSITION
Each capsule contains 300 mg of buflomedil
hydrochloride.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Vasdilen is applied for the treatment of the
following diseases:
- Disturbances of peripheral circulation (endarteritis, Raynaud's phenomen and
etc.);
- Neurologic and mental disturbances, associated with cerebral circulation
disorder (dementia, headache, vertigo, head noise);
- Vascular disturbances in eye retina, organ of hearing (angiopathy, Ménière's
disease and etc.);
- Trophic disturbances dye to microcirculation disorder.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Vasdilen is applied for the treatment of the

CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Severe coronary atherosclerosis;
- Hyperfunctioning of thyroid gland;
- Paroxysmal tachycardia;
- Hypersensibility to buflomedil hydrochloride;
- Puerperal period;
- Massive hemorrhage.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
One capsule of Vasdilen (300 mg) is prescribed 2
times daily (in the morning and before bedtime).
ADVERSE EFFECTS
- GIT dyspeptic disorders (constipation,
meteorism, diarrhea, nausea);
- Face skin redness;
- Skin rash.
Very rarely – headache, vertigo.
PRECAUTIONS
Vasdilen potentiates the action of hypotensive
agents. High doses may cause the decrease in blood pressure, tachycardia.
If Vasdilen is prescribed with anticoagulants the indices of blood coagulation
should be closely monitored.

A box contains 20 capsules 300 mg.
